        Thank you for looking at what SHAWMUT CAR SHOPS can do for your G scale railroad.  I custom paint, kit-bash, modify, and make pieces in 1:20 through 1:32 scale.  ALL PRICES INCLUDE THE PIECE, but if you want to supply the piece, call for a quote.  I make all my own lettering using either an ALPS printer or a vinyl cutter and sell decal sheets for all scale from N to G & Ride On Trains.
       This web page shows, but a tiny portion of my work. For a 27 page color catalog showing over 140 examples of pieces I have built or supplied decals for, please send $5.00 to the address on the first page. If you order something over $ 50 (not including shipping), the $ 5.00 is refundable .
     Since 1998, I have custom painted and lettered over 1600 items including 100 steam locomotives, 40 gas-electric motorcars, 325 diesel locomotives,   and 1100 freight and passenger cars. I encourage modelers to suggest unusual projects such as the first train to run in Delaware or the 2 Mt. Washington Cog Ry trains I have built.

      SPECIAL CUSTOM BUILT / REBUILT ITEMS MAY RESULT IN A SLIGHTLY HIGHER PRICE THEN QUOTED IF THE TIME / MATERIALS TO BUILD THE ITEM COST MORE THEN ORIGINAL QUOTE.       I try to give an accurate quote, but sometimes it takes longer to achieve the product the customer desires. Additional payment may be required to build the locomotive or car of your desires.
